Car Theft

Whilst conducting house-to-house enquiries in connection with an ongoing investigation, City NPT located a vehicle that had previously been reported as stolen.

The vehicle was identified at a residential address during enquiries carried out within the local area.

 Officers conducted further checks which confirmed that the vehicle was recorded as stolen. The vehicle was subsequently secured by police and recovered for further examination.

The discovery was made as a direct result of proactive enquiries being undertaken by officers in the community. 

House-to-house visits remain an important investigative tool, allowing officers to gather information, identify potential lines of enquiry, and provide reassurance to residents. 

The recovery of the vehicle represents a positive outcome from these enquiries and forms part of ongoing efforts to detect crime, recover stolen property, and protect communities across South Wales.
